Why do you want to be a tutor?
- I have been tutoring in my old school district for the past 4 summers, and tutored all though my high school years. It is a job I throughly enjoy and excel in. I am pursuing a degree in English with a concentration in poetry. I hope to be a teacher and librarian in the future. Through this job I will not only be helping other people, but also gaining the valuable life experience.
Why should a student pick you?
- A student should pick me because I am honest, hard working, and I adjust well to the style of teaching that may be needed to help the student understand the information at hand.
Personal Statement:
- I find tutoring to be a very important and rewarding experience. I, too, used to have trouble learning and comprehending information given to me when I was younger. If it wasn't for my tutors I don't know how much difficulty I would have had over the years. It is the very skills that helped me succeed, that I wish to pass down to others so that they may also succeed though their endeavors.
